Concept

In this project I created a promotional website for a pretend Melbourne arts festival called Aptitude. Although the website has a commercial use, I wanted to show the creative nature of the event through interactive elements and site navigation.

Process

Using HTML, CSS and p5.js. The structure consists of three fixed columns with menu navigation from the center. When these are selected, tabs will open in the left or right columns where there is further content (currently placeholders). While navigating the page, the cursor pattern will create a drawing over time which resembles a map of the cursor movement. Through this action, the hidden website title also appears.
